About Me

I'm a researcher and musician currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Maynooth University, specializing in FPGA-based audio processing, embedded audio systems, and interactive sound design. Alongside my research, I produce and perform music internationally and offer freelance audio programming services, merging technology and creativity across diverse projects.

Featured Work

ModFPGA

ModFPGA is a modular audio synthesis platform developed for AMD Xilinx Zynq 7000 FPGA SoC, built using C++ and High-Level Synthesis (HLS). It provides standalone, interconnectable IP cores emulating synthesizer modules along with drivers, build scripts and control systems for flexible FPGA-based sound synthesis and processing.

Bare-metal Csound

A bare-metal implementation of the open-source audio programming language Csound, optimized for embedded systems including Daisy, Teensy, STM32, Zybo, and ARM Cortex platforms. This enables Csound's powerful audio DSP and generative music capabilities without an operating system overhead for the first time.

Hope

Hope Artwork

Aman's composition "Hope" is a mesmerizing amalgamation of three worlds: an emotional world highlighted by enchanting melodies, an immersive sonic world created by spectral DSP techniques, and an exciting improvisational world driven by reactive performances.
